This is the Centre de Dane du Marais where I've been dancing for the past 2 weeks. They have beautiful painted ceilings which you can't see very well in this picture but I will take more and better ones soon.

The dance is contemporary dance, using the Martha Graham technique:

Funny little mouse scavenging from the Metro dustbins. I found out there is a similar one living in the corner of my bedroom.

Soon I will have posted the whole food chain, only missing the little scum beasts eaten by the mice? hmm..

This is the house cat. I'm not such a cat person, so I wasn't very confortable when he decided to share my meal..

Zuber Cie

Today on the job I went to drop off some samples at Zuber who have been making handmade wallpapers since 1797 (!)

The panoramas like the ones bellow are made up of over 50 "lés" (strips of wallpaper) and each detail and layer of colour is made by a differently sculpted stamp (like above) which date back to when the wallpapers were first made.

And each one takes........ 1 year to make

I am now in Paris for 5 weeks and should soon have the wifi figured out to start updating properly.....

This weekend was 'Designer's Day' in Paris which means that many galeries and showrooms were open all weekend. I went to see all the showrooms in the 7e and saw BOFFI which are beautiful!
