Time for an update, a shot of the mobile i made to match my first structures of society piece. As before, it portrays the concept of population density. This one is more interesting than my first though, because of its three focal points instead of just one.

More paper cuttings, this time in the form of an interrogation on materials and the portrayal of spiritual features in objects. A work in progress still in need of much reflection but here is a start. The two objects are the same because both embody the same symbolic and emotional elements: unique, ephemeral, fragile, wild. The thick granular paper used with such a precise technique portrays the mix of rough and rugged with the perfect of natural phenomenon.
